Samantha Abernathy is a freelance artist of many mediums based out of Chicago, IL. She began her creative career while attending Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta GA, while simultaneously teaching graphic design summer courses at the Galloway School. Shortly after, she began freelancing with an Atlanta-based talent agency, Bloc South, home to world renown choreographers and professional dancers, where she traveled, photographed talent and designed for artist development projects nationwide. Later in her photography and design career, she began transitioning into TV & Film as an On Set Production Stills Photographer, just before discovering her interest in Art Direction and Set Design. Samantha has continued gaining experience in TV & Film, while simultaneously illustrating and designing infographics for an Atlanta-based magazine. She now resides in Chicago, IL where she is freelancing as a photographer, designer, illustrator, and well-rounded creator.
